Wow, I have to say that I love XBox Live. This incarnation is much better than the first (which, to be fair was the first of its kind for consoles). I bought a wireless adapter for the xbox360 since the TV is too far from my computer room to run a cable. Setup was painless, no doubt mitigated by the fact that my wireless router is running happily without encryption or security of any kind (except for the router's admin password which I changed).
I now have an XBox live moniker which you will come to know and fear as: CodeCube
Original, I know.
Within minutes of having setup my account, I was able to download the following Live Arcade demos:
Street Fighter II: HF
Geometry Wars
Marble Blast
And for the wife, Bejeweled
And it seemed that lady luck was in the house because I chose to sign up on a day that Texas Hold'em Poker was being offered as a Free download on XBLA. Now, I love poker, even though I'm terrible at it (for now ;-) ). I have to say that the game was a blast to play with others. Even though I encountered some of the people that just go all-in all the time, it was still fun.
