Came across an interesting link I thought I'd share
The Alexander Technique shows you how to adjust even the most minute of physical movements like clicking a mouse button to eliminate lots of common aches and pains. Of course, a quick glance over the site (which is all I've done at this point) hasn't given up any clues as to how to practice this technique, just points you to find a technique teacher which leads me to believe that it's nothing more than a marketing ploy. However, it's interesting food for thought.
This whole concept is actually one (not a big one, but one nonetheless) of the reasons I started skating. I mean, I didn't want to be some non-coordinated yahoo all my life, and if you can keep your balance on a 7.5" x 31" piece of wood at high speeds, I figure you've got an advantage over the average yahoo. Don't ask me how ... but I know it'll come it handy some day ;-)
I came across the link because I couldn't get the spelling for technique for some reason ... kept spelling it like "technuiqe". I knew that Google would give me the correct spelling so I popped it in, and that was the first result. I swear ... I'd be lost without google.
